One more oddity – another writer has “
TRUE” set in her dita_options.xml file, but the Options button is also disabled for her XMetaL.
–OK. I figured it out – apparently you need to have a file open in XMetaL for it to become enabled. All users have all necessary files and are set up are set up correctly now. Thanks,

Thanks Derek. I see that file (and about 15 others) in that directory on my system, but it is missing on hers. Other than the 4 subfolders, her directory only contains the following files: ct_preferences, default.tbr, dita_options, mediadisplayoptions, print_local, searchResult, shell.stg, XMetaL, and xmrepo_settings. Any ideas? thanks!

Thanks for the quick reply. You're right. Looks like we also need to add something to the XSLT. Thanks!

I'll keep an eye out for some examples and send them to you. The line break and indentation problems usually appear after a closing element, such as . I actually found an example for you. Please see the attachment. Hopefully it will help. I can send you the actual source if you'd like.

Reply To: Page Preview in Single HTML/HTML2 format failsJuly 8, 2013 at 4:37 pmParticipants 0Replies 5Last Activity 9 years, 7 months ago
You are correct. The problem occurs when trying to preview a single topic in either tags on or normal by selecting File > Preview In Browser. It works fine on my system when generating Single HTML or HTML 2 output for a ditamap, but not for a colleague on his system. So it does seem inconsistent. We do have customizations to our DITA OT, so I'll run it by the implementer. If you have any ideas, please let me know.

I have the map title attribute set, but my webhelp output still generates with “HTML Help”. Is there anything else I can try? Thanks, Nicole
