XMetal 6.0 Support for Documentum 6.5SP3

What is the planned date for XMetal 6.0 to be fully compatible (and tested) with Documentum 6.5SP3 and above?

The current version of XMetaL Author Enterprise for Documentum Webtop is 2.1.0.084. We have done initial testing of this release with Documentum 6.5 SP3. We are providing “provisional support” for this combination at this time, meaning that we provide support services for this combination, however if an issue arises that would require significant effort to resolve and in turn upset existing development schedules, it will be added to our roadmap and addressed at a later date. It is possible that a customer could encounter an issue which requires them to downgrade their Documentum software in order to continue using XMetaL with it.  We expect QA to complete regression testing with Documentum 6.5 SP3 this fall, but that is subject to change.

Preliminary testing of version 2.1.0.084 with Documentum 6.6 by a JSCI partner has shown the two systems are compatible.  However, JSCI hasn't done any testing to date against D6.6. We do not provide support services for this combination yet. We plan to officially support a version of XMetaL Author Enterprise for Documentum Webtop in combination with Documentum 6.6 in July 2011. We expect to be able to announce initial test results and “provisional support” before then.
