XMetaL 6.0 does not prompt to save changed files when closing
May 27, 2011 at 11:00 pmParticipants 2Replies 3Last Activity 11 years, 8 months agoXMetaL Essential 6.0 SP1 6.0.2.070
If we close one file at a time, XMetaL will prompt to save if the file has changed. If we close XMetaL there is no prompting and XMetaL just closes.
Is this a known issue? As far as I know we do no such checks in our customizations (and the same customizations work properly with earlier versions of XMetaL.)
Thanks,
Lee

May 27, 2011 at 11:07 pmI can't reproduce this with a quick test:
1. Create one or more documents based on the Journalist “Article” template.
2. Optional: save one or more of the documents.
3. Make a change to all documents.
4. Close XMetaL Author Enterprise. I'm prompted to save each document that was modified.thoa September 10, 2013 at 7:27 am

September 10, 2013 at 7:27 amWe have the same problem in XMetaL Essential 6.0 SP1 6.0.2.070.
XMetaL doesn't prompt to save the file when XMetaL is closed. Is there already a solution for this problem?

September 10, 2013 at 8:02 pmIf this turns out to be the same issue that LeeHart submitted through the XMetaL Support system then the solution will be to upgrade (a good idea anyway as currently supported versions include 8.0 back to 7.0).
