TopLeaf: Cannot generate output with XMetaL Author Enterprise 9.0
August 20, 2014 at 4:54 pmParticipants 1Replies 2Last Activity 8 years, 5 months agoLike it says in the title, I'm unable to generate any output using TopLeaf through XMetaL Author Enterprise 9.0. This is all done on Windows 7 SP1.
Other default output options work correctly. I tested the Enhanced PDF via RenderX, Single, and Multiple HTML files with success. However, when I use TopLeaf, I encounter a number of errors in the log file and no output is created.
Could you help me figure out what might be configured wrong? Or is it a compatibility issue with this version of Author and TopLeaf?
I've attached a log file of my most recent attempt.

August 21, 2014 at 2:49 amThe OT shipped with version 9.0 requires java 6 or later. I think what is happening is that the plugin is finding the old version of java from the previous version of XMetaL – for some reason this doesn't seem to get deleted when the old version is uninstalled.
There is a new version of the plugin (9.02) at http://www.turnkey.com.au/tksweb/Downloads/XMTP.exe that should find the correct java.
If this doesn't work, you can try explicitly setting the path the java. On the Advanced tab of the Edit Deliverable Type dialog, add an output parameter like:
JAVA_HOME = C:Program Files (x86)Javajre6
(depending on where java is installed)
