SGML>PDF… help

Ok, I am new to using Xmetal, I am a Framemaker user so the setup here is all different.  so if I have a .fos file and an SGML file, is it even possible to create a PDF output just from them in Xmetal Author Enterprise?

The XMetaL product line does not natively support FOSI.

In theory, provided you can locate a FOSI transformation engine that accepts the necessary arguments to run (either via scripting or command line) it would be possible to automate that process, however, I don't know of anyone that has done this.
