Removing menu item
February 27, 2014 at 5:55 amParticipants 2Replies 3Last Activity 8 years, 11 months agoHi!
One of our user uses XMetaL 8 Japanese version. Today they sent me a request to remove following menu from DITA authoring windows.
Because “再利用可能なコンポーネントを作成(c)…” generates the XML file that uses ditacomponent.dtd the generated XML instance cannot be used by the standard DITA-OT. How can I remove this menu from XMetaL 8.0?

February 27, 2014 at 10:01 pmRight click in the menu area and select the Japanese equivalent of “Customize…” (should be the last item listed).
Open the menu you want to edit, click and drag the menu item you want to remove out of the menu and let go to delete it.
Or open the menu you want to edit, right click on the item you want to delete and select the Japanese equivalent of “Delete” to delete the item.tmakita February 28, 2014 at 1:32 am

February 28, 2014 at 1:32 amHi Derek,
Open the menu you want to edit, click and drag the menu item you want to remove out of the menu and let go to delete it.
It's works fine.
However how to reset menu to default setting? When I right clicking the menu, “Reset to default” was not enabled.
(To communicate easier I switched XMetaL 8 English version.)
