Re: Tutorial: Customizing XMetaL WebHelp

I can't find “Webhelp” as the output format in the Deliverable type list. I tried to add it using Add button, but its not listed in the Add list.
Can anyone tell me how to add the Webhelp output format?

April 7, 2012 at 1:54 amYou do not need to add WebHelp and it is visible in the list of deliverables by default (some lesser-used formats are hidden).
Perhaps you have an older version of XMetaL Author Enterprise that did not include WebHelp?

I am using Xmetal 5.1. Is there any alternative method to add Webhelp as the output format and customize the output?

April 10, 2012 at 8:45 pmThe WebHelp plug-in was designed to work with 5.5 and up.
If you don't want to move to a newer version (we've released 7.0 so your version is technically unsupported now) you could use the “Multiple HTML files” output and then build your own framework around it.
