Problem using ‘text-align: justify’ in XMax
September 25, 2009 at 12:06 pmParticipants 0Replies 1Last Activity 13 years, 5 months agoI have a couple of problems using 'text-align: justify' in my CSS file for use with an XMax control.
1. It doesn't justify the text.
2. When I use it in conjunction with 'display: block;' the resulting stylesheet prevents a space being displayed when you click the spacebar, it is only when you start typing again that the space is displayed. This only happens in Normal View. Can you explain why this happens, and/or a possible workaround.
Thanks

Reply to: Problem using ‘text-align: justify’ in XMax
September 25, 2009 at 5:25 pmWe may implement this CSS property in the future, but at the moment if it does anything that is some sort of side-effect of it not being supported (in all versions of both XMetaL Author and XMAX to date which share the same rendering engine).
I will try to reproduce the issue you are seeing with spaces and notify development team of the problem. However, my recommendation at this time is to not use this property to avoid that issue as there is no way to get the product to display justified text.
