PDF publication with 2 column – 2 Language side by sideNovember 8, 2012 at 10:46 amParticipants 0Replies 1Last Activity 10 years, 2 months ago
I need to publish PDF with multiple column. On one side is English and in another is its translation in another language.
I know how to publish PDF in multiple column but how can I ensure that translated component (paragraph) are side by side?
Can it be done if i have a topic and its translation in separate file? or it is easier they are in the same topic, ie. for each section translated text appears after original section?
will really appreciate your ideas.

Can be done using TopLeaf plugin, provided initial markup is set up properly. Couple of methods, depending on the size of the individual chunks, presence of page wide graphics/tables etc.
Let me know if you want further info.
PS: It isn't supported in the standard stylesheet though, so would require a full plugin license. You need to be aware of that before responding.
