Operating on selected table cells

Hi,

Does anyone have a skeleton script to work on selected cells.

I want to be able to select a contigous selection of cells, in a row, and then, for example, set the role attribute, of the entry element, to “shade”. (I want to be able to select and shade cells in a row.)

Does anyone have some code fragments to do something like this?
