Icons & WIndows7, XMetaL 5.5
July 31, 2013 at 7:38 pmParticipants 0Replies 1Last Activity 9 years, 6 months agoNoticed that if change size of text on screen from smaller (100%) to Medium (125%) there doesn't appear to be any size change to XMetaL's icons. We do notice a difference when set screen to Larger (150%), but this setting causes issues with other applications.
Just wondering if there is any mechanism to change the size of XMetaL's toolbar icon's from their default size?

July 31, 2013 at 8:33 pmYou can't change the size of toolbar icons in any version prior to 8.0.
With the 8.0 release a new platform for managing and rendering toolbars and menus was implemented. In that release there is an option that lets you double the size of toolbar icons. The feature is enabled in the XMetaL UI by right clicking on the Toolbar area and opening the Customize dialog. The setting is in that dialog on the Options tab and is labeled “Large Icons”.
Note: XMetaL Author 5.5 is not supported on Windows 7 (as documented in the install-readme.html file included with the installer).
