Global view spinning forever or crashed

HI,
I have XMetal 11 on windows 10. The xml document I have doesn’t have inline xsl for display. When I switch this xml document from normal view to global view, the _html_style.xsl is created successfully under user folder. but the screen freeze with blue circle spin forever; while the other machine XMetal just close itself. and no error message shown up.
so what could be the culprit? any feedback is appreciated.
