I read about the possibility of converting XML to Markdown by using XMetaL 15. I have downloaded the trial version but could’nt find the feature.
We are using a custom DTD and our Dev-Department wants aus to produce Markdown files in the future. So we are looking for a way to transform our XML into Markdown once we have finished editing.
Where do we finde the converter?

XMetaL 15 provide light in-place editing capability for Markdown files.
It does NOT provide converters to convert XML to Markdown.DITA-OT may contain some code to convert DITA to Markdown.

XMetaL now supports Markdown syntax. You can write documents in Markdown as well as convert documents into Markdown and convert Markdown documents into HTML and MS Word Document
