We are developing the plugin for application which uses XMAX.
The task of our plugin is checking of the text for some linguistic rules.
As result of its work some of words must be colored or highlighted (or underlined). We know that we can color word by adding new tag for them (span for example or something other) and applying style. But we won't to modify content of the document.
We need only mark the words like any spellchecker works.Would you please advise a way to do this without playing with tags but using text's offsets or something like that?
Thanks in advance,
Naumov Fedor.+
P.S.
Version of XMAX that application uses is 7.0
