Changing map2xhtmtoc.xsl for new deliverable type
January 23, 2009 at 3:12 pmParticipants 0Replies 1Last Activity 14 years, 2 months agoHi,
I've created a new output deliverable type based on the 'Multiple HTML files' type.
I specified a default stylesheet to override the default stylesheet, and created a new set of stylesheets for this.
However, I don't know how to specify a new stylesheet for the toc – the default stylesheet (map2xhtmtoc.xsl) is still used.
Is it possible to change this? I could just edit the default one, but would this means I have to use it for all multiple html file output types.
Is it possible to change this?
Thanks,

January 23, 2009 at 6:25 pmIf you want to use different map2xhtmltoc.xsl files for different HTML deliverables you are likely going to need to modify at least the following file (assuming usage of XMetaL Author Enterprise 5.1 with a default installation on an English version of Windows XP):
C:Program FilesCommon FilesXMetaL SharedDITA_OTbuild_dita2xhtml.xml
That file is the only one in the DITA OT that references map2xhtmtoc.xsl
To widen the audience for this question (and because it fits perfectly on this other group which has a lot of DITA OT users, not just XMetaL) you may also wish to inquire here:
http://tech.groups.yahoo.com/group/dita-users/I don't see any similar questions having already been asked there but you may wish to search anyway.
