Built-in commands on the menu bar
February 15, 2013 at 8:06 pmParticipants 0Replies 1Last Activity 9 years, 11 months agoIs there any way in XMetaL 7.0 to add an accidentally deleted built-in command back to the menu bar without resetting the menu bar and redoing the changes from scratch?

February 15, 2013 at 10:48 pmNot using the GUI (the only thing available there is “reset”, as you say, and using that will throw away all your changes of course). The only way to do what you want that I can think of would be to get a standard copy of the TBR file in question (from an unmodified install), do a diff between it and yours and then try to manually copy the parts over that you need to restore.
The main thing that makes this a little scary is that built-in commands each have a couple of id values that you need to get correct (and there is no way to figure those out, the GUI manages them automatically).
