Hello,

Info: Using XMetaL Author Enterprise version 10.0.0.074

I am writing a custom dialogue that will be used to insert an image.

What do I need to do to generate a unique ID for the image, using the same system that is used when using the default image insertion tool, provided by XmetaL?

I believe I put this in the wrong subforum, my mistake. I think I've got it; I traced back the generation functionality to …AuthorDITAXACssharedlibrariesLibrary_ID.js and adapted the code from the “strGetGUID” function into the VBScript code in the form layout tool
