Siemens made a CMS connector for XMetaL Author Enterprise some time ago and that is probably what you have.

JustSystems has built one to replace it. Functionality should be equivalent, but the look and feel will differ slightly. The one we have built uses the standard “Repository” menu and associated CMS menu items (calling standardized XMetaL APIs).

I believe Siemens will be discontinuing support for their version.
