January 14, 2012 at 2:13 amThis is an all or nothing forum setting, meaning it should affect everyone equally (ie: I was wrong about the time being reduced, it is 180 seconds for all users). However, I see a reply to one of your messages from jlm today so the same issue isn't affecting him.
The setting blocks subsequent posts from the same IP address (not user) made within 180 seconds. I've checked to see if anyone else is sharing your IP and, though there are two other users from your company that share that IP, they haven't posted any messages in the same topics as they haven't posted anything since last year (2011).
I think we should leave this for the weekend to see if it works itself out.
