I was getting the same error message as cdybdahl, and based on Derek's suggestion I re-installed. 

Now I attempt to open a ditamap from the DITA Exchange map library (SharePoint 2010), and although I don't get the same error anymore, the map never opens…  Nothing happens. No error message, no opened map.  Nothing.

I'll take you up on that WebEx session, Derek :-).
