September 14, 2012 at 12:04 amYou might try XMetaL Author Enterprise 7.0 to see what it outputs. Not sure if it will give better output or what it will look like in your Mobi reader / Kindle. XMetaL Author Enterprise 7.0 integrates the [url=http://dita4publishers.sourceforge.net/]dita4publishers[/url] plug-in into the DITA OT (works out of the box). It generates output to Mobi/Kindle via the “[url=http://www.amazon.com/gp/feature.html?ie=UTF8&docId=1000765211]KindleGen[/url]” tool (which does need to be installed separately). The “deliverable type” in XMetaL is listed as “KINDLE (mobi format experimental)”.
