XMetaL Author Essential 8.0.0.038b
Windows 7, English

How do you insert an em dash into a document? (The document file that I am editing has a "ddue" extension.) On the XMetaL Insert menu, I tried clicking both "Special Characters..." and "Symbols...", but in each case there seemed to be no response. (I tried re-starting XMetaL but that didn't seem to help.)

Is there a keyboard shortcut?

Thanks!

I see now that there's an em dash in the Symbols toolbar. That takes care of my question.
