Issue:
The "relationship tables" (reltable) editing functionality (exposed through the Table menu and via the Table toolbar when a DITA map is open in Tags On or Normal view) was broken with the release of XMetaL Author Enterprise 6.0.

The items that allow rows and columns to be inserted into and deleted from "relationship tables" inside DITA maps do nothing in XMetaL Author Enterprise versions 6.0.0.122 thru 6.0.1.030.

Unofficial Patch:
This patch restores the functionality present in previous releases. This is an unofficial patch, meaning that no installer is provided to aid with installation and removal. It must be installed manually by copying a file into your XMetaL Author Enterprise 6.0 installation. Administrator rights will normally be required to do this on most Windows installations (no different from a "true" patch, upgrade or software installation).

We plan to include this or a similar fix with our next official release.

Installation:
1. Shut down XMetaL Author Enterprise 6.0.
2. Download the ZIP archive file attached to this forum posting.
3. Unzip the ZIP archive and copy the file it contains (xmee_60_20101116.mcr) to the following location:
      <xmetal installation path>\Author\Startup\
In most cases (on English language versions of Windows) that location will be here:
      C:\Program Files\XMetaL 6.0\Author\Startup\

The next time XMetaL Author Enterprise is launched the reltable editing functionality should be enabled.

Note: Before uninstalling XMetaL Author Enterprise 6.0 or upgrading to a newer version of the product this patch should be removed. Removing the patch should allow the product to uninstall cleanly. If that is not done then some folders may need to be removed manually after uninstalling 6.0.

Uninstalling:
1. Shut down XMetaL Author Enterprise 6.0.
2. Remove the patch file (xmee_60_20101116.mcr) described in the "Installation" portion of this forum posting.

This issue has been addressed with the release of XMetaL Author Enterprise 6.0 SP1.
If you are running 6.0 SP1 (6.0.2.070) do not apply this patch.
