Is it possible to show some popup style message in XMetal author, i.e. when user will hover the mouse on some particular text of the active document then the message will come?

Not yet. We're considering adding a feature along those lines however.

What you could do is to call Application.SetStatusText("someString") and that can be triggered by the event On_Mouse_Over and/or On_Mouse_Out.
