Displaying check out status in DITA map

Hi again!!
Is there any way to display the checked out status of a topic in the DITA map? Currently, the DITA map does not display any such status which I think would be very useful for users.

This is a feature we are considering implementing.

It's certainly a feature that needs to be implemented. The main issue we have is really in that there is no cms status indication within XMetaL.
I would encourage this to be considered for future release of XMetaL as I am sure it is something that other integrators will benefit from.

Apparently this has been done, but not in a generic way yet (to work automatically with all CMS integrations coded using the XMetaL Connector APIs). Our Pro Services team implemented this for a particular client hard coded to work with one specific CMS system.
