By default, for XMetaL Author Enterprise 6.0, the name of the logged in user (their Windows account name) is used. However, you are free to alter that setting here if you need to do so: Tools > Options > General (tab) > Name (textbox)
This setting is written into (and read from) the
xmetal60.ini
file as follows:
user_name = value

Thanks for your reply. I changed the name from the menu tools>options>general tab as u suggested. It's working fine but couldn't found "user_name" within the ini file. Even after change. How canI change the name from XMetal login programmatically?

To change this programmatically you would need to alter the INI file before launching XMetaL Author.
Most likely you are not viewing the per user INI file:
%appdata%\SoftQuad\XMetaL\6.0\xmetal60.ini
