Hi everyone,
We've seen an increase in subtle linkspamming (
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Spamdexing#Link_spam) recently. The forum moderators are keeping on top of it so far. Here's a heads-up on some things you might notice us doing:
- We delete posts if they are blatant spam and off-topic.
- We remove links from signatures if we suspect they might be linkspam.
- If a post appears to be legitimate but it contains possible linkspam, we remove the link.
- Obvious spammers are banned without warning.
If we make a mistake, please contact us via the "Report to Moderator" link.
