Resource Manager XMetal3

Hello,
Has anybody had this problem?
I am using the Resource Manager in XMetal3.
When I try to drag some text from my open xml document into Text Objects folder in the Resource manager (Attachment1.gif) I get the following Internet Explorer Script Error:
'An invalid character was found in text content.
Do you want to continue running scripts on this page?' (Script_error.gif)

I click on 'Yes'.
Then in another xml editor I open the file fxitems.xml in the directory
C:\Program Files\SoftQuad\XMetaL 3\Assets\Journalist DTD\Text Objects.

I find my text in the fxitems.xml, but the 'Description' is not entered. I enter the description and when I open XMetal again, I find the text in Text Objects folder of the Journalist DTD folder.

I don't think that I should be getting this error message. Is there a setting in XMetal that I need to change?

Any help would be most appreciated.
