When I try and use the webhelp output I run into a few issues / limitations.  I am just kind of pointing them out. I think for webhelp we will use a different solution.
     •Search data does not index our legacy html content that we have included as peer in our ditamap. I can understand why it does not get indexed though but it probably would not be too hard to index peer content the way CHM does.
     •Left navigation pane is not resizable by the user.
     •Did not scale well to our amount of content.
     •Has some weird ActiveX warning when trying to view local and not on a web server
     •Get Script timeout error with our content. ( TOC has 5000+ items)

For what it's worth, we had to do a lot of work (customization) to make webhelp into something we could use.
