The auto save option works for topics, but it doesn't seem to work for ditamaps. Is an auto save option for ditamaps available in XMetaL 6.0 or will it be available in a future release? Any information you can provide would be helpful. Thanks.

Yes, this feature only works when a map is open in "XML view" (Plain Text, Tags On or Normal view).

Improvements to auto-save are planned for the future, though at this time I cannot say when or exactly which improvements will be done.
