I just installed XMetaL 6.0 and I'm trying to register the XFRunner_60139.dll file. I followed the instructions posted on the forum under "Summary of issues involving McAfee VirusScan." However, after entering the register command, I get the following error message, "LoadLibrary("XFRunner.dll") failed - The specified module could not be found."

Other writers on my team have also recently installed XMetaL 6.0 with the patch and they've had no problems. There may be an easy fix, so any information you can provide would be helpful. Thanks.

Since your cmd started on a different drive you have to use the /d option when you use the cd command. Or just type “c:” and then press enter before running the regsvr32 command.

You could also include the absolute path in the regsvr32 command.
regsvr32.exe “C:\Program Files\Common Files\XMetaL Shared\XFRunner.dll”

From the screenshot it also looks like you just extracted the dll fix to a sub directory. I don’t see the backup copy of the original dll. Did you just replace it?
