Enhancements in 5.5

Hi,

Could somebody help me in figuring out what excatly are the changes in Xmetal Author 5.5 compared with Xmetal 5.1,

I was referring to the external location to read files using .ini file which is under program files/Xmetal/Author/xmetal55.ini

But couldnt do it in usual way as i did with Xmetal51.ini

On what basis files get recreated under SoftQuad

Any files XMetaL generates (.rlx, .ctm, .css, .tbr) are written to your per-user Application Data\SoftQuad\XMetaL\5.5\Gen folder.  This behavior can be disabled via the INI var 'user_setting_mode'.  XMetaL 5.5 installs configured for per-user mode (i.e. limited-user accounts or Vista with UAC enabled).  The install-readme has details on this stuff.
